The following document summarizes the terms and conditions for merchants using centipaid
payment services. Please read this information carefully.
Changes to this document may occur at any
time. Email notices will be sent to active merchant accounts. Use of
the service constitutes acceptance of these terms and
conditions.
About the
company
Centipaid Corporation is based in Nashua, NH USA . Centipaid owns
and operates centipaid.com, centipix.com and InternetStamps.NET among other
sites. The Digital Stored Value Card (DSVC) technology used at
Centipaid is patent-pending. For more information

About the
service
Centipaid provides content and service providers (the
merchant) with easy to integrate software and micro payments solution.
This allows merchants to collect fees from users paying to access for such
content or services.
Who can use our service
Centipaid accepts all online merchants that sell digital
goods or services. We primarily cater to merchants that price their
products and services at $1 USD or less, in other words we cater to merchants
who require micropayment processing. Centipaid reserves the right to refuse
service to any merchant.
Minimum Transaction size
Centipaid is equipped to deal with transactions as low as
$0.000001 USD. However the minimum transaction accepted is $0.001 USD unless
arrangements have been made with centipaid for smaller transaction
processing.
In the event that a merchant submits a micro payment
smaller less than $0.001 USD, the user will be prompted to pay the minimum
amount of $0.001 USD.
Maximum Transaction size
Our maximum transaction is $50 USD. Merchants wishing
to accept larger transactions should contact Centipaid.
Commission rates
Centipaid
relies on a variable rate commission schedule for transaction between $0.001 and
$10. The commission rate start at 12% for transaction of $1 or higher, to
18% for transactions of $0.001 or lower. For the most up-to-date rate information check our

Signup fees
Merchants using centipaid may choose one of the available
merchant account types that reflect their expected level of activity.

- Personal Account ($5.95 USD
signup fee, and a $2.95 monthly service fee) This account is limited tyo 1,000 transactions a month.
- Business Account ($19.95 USD
signup fee, and a $9.95 monthly service fee) This account is limited to 10,000 transactions a month.
- Enterprise Account ($39.00
USD signup fee, and a $19.95 monthly service fee) This account is limited to 100,000 transactions a
month.
- Partner Account: This
account if for merchants that generate 100,000 or more transactions each
month, please contact us pricing information.
Merchants who transact beyond their alloted number of
transactions, will be automatically be upgraded to the next account level.
For example a merchant who started with a personal
account and paid a monthly fee of $2.95, reached a transaction level greater than 10,000 per month. At that time, Centipaid would upgrade
the account to a business account, and charge the merchant $9.95
per month on starting the next billing period.
Monthly service fees
Merchants using centipaid agree pay the monthly service as outlined in the schedule below, matching the account level chosen at signup and correlating to their level of monthly transactions.
- Personal Account ($2.95 monthly service fee) This account is limited tyo 1,000 transactions a month.
- Business Account ($9.95 monthly service fee) This account is limited to 10,000 transactions a month.
- Enterprise Account ($19.95 monthly service fee) This account is limited to 100,000 transactions a
month.
Sales minimums
Centipaid does not enforce any sales minimums, and there
are no penalties for selling little or none.
Paying
merchants
Payment schedule
Centipaid will pay by check, or other agreed-on methods the
money collected every accounting period.
Each accounting period is 30 days in
length. A new period begins every 1st of each month. Centipaid
will issue checks when account balance in greater than $50 USD,
otherwise it is kept until the minimum amount is achieved.
All transactions that occur within
this period will be processed, and payment will be mailed as a check, including
international customers. Merchants that generate large sales volumes (over
$1,000 a week ) qualify for bi-weekly transfers.
Charge backs
Centipaid does not provide the users with a chargeback
mechanism when using their CENTIPIX. i.e. in the event of an error on part
of the consumer or the merchant, centipaid will not issue a chargeback.
However in cases where a consumer has purchased CENTIPIX using a credit card,
and was successful in getting a chargeback on his credit card, centipaid will
reverse charges to all merchant accounts where the CENTIPIX was
used. The merchants themselves will not be penalized for the chargeback
beyond the reversal of charges that took place on its site.
Accepted Payments
Centipaid
accepts payments on behalf merchants. The payment methods accepted include
and are not limited to Visa, MasterCard, checks, money orders, cash
(through global agents), pre-paid cards (through global partners).
Understanding end user
rights
The end user is any person using a CENTIPIX digital stored
value card (DSVC) to pay for goods or services at
participating merchant sites. The end user is entitled to anonymity
and privacy to the extent allowed by the laws of New Hampshire
, USA . Merchants will
receive a unique transaction reference number (also referred to as a receipt)
for every payment made by an end user. No user information is needed to
complete and verify a CENTIPIX transaction, and no other information is
furnished or transmitted to merchants.
Payments made with CENTIPIX are final and can not be
retracted.
Centipaid will not use any of the private information used
to obtain a CENTIPIX for any other purposes than to execute and clear the credit
card transaction.
An important note about terms and condition changes pertaining to end user
rights: Centipaid's business model revolves around the processing
of anonymous payments using DSVCs, and the privacy rights mentioned herein are
not bound by the changes made to this document. The primary role pf this
document is to explain to merchants what to expect from us. The user
privacy rights are extrememly important to us, and can only be over ruled by
the governing laws of the state of New Hampshire.
Software
Payment Software
Centipaid provides the merchant with payment interface
software that resides on the merchant server, and communicates with centipaid
servers to complete the transaction.
Ownership
All programs provided are owned by Centipaid Corporation or
others as indicated by the programs license agreements and
documentation. Many programs available through centipaid are open
source, and each software will contain a LICENSE document that contains
information about the licensing conditions.
No Warranty
BECAUSE THE PROGRAM IS LICENSED FREE OF CHARGE, THERE IS NO
WARRANTY FOR THE PROGRAM, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. EXCEPT WHEN
OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AND/OR OTHER PARTIES PROVIDE
THE PROGRAM "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND
PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM IS WITH YOU. SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU
ASSUME THE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.
IN NO EVENT UNLESS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW OR AGREED TO
IN WRITING WILL ANY COPYRIGHT HOLDER, OR ANY OTHER PARTY WHO MAY MODIFY AND/OR
REDISTRIBUTE THE PROGRAM AS PERMITTED ABOVE, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR DAMAGES,
INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT
OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF
DATA OR DATA BEING RENDERED INACCURATE OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD
PARTIES OR A FAILURE OF THE PROGRAM TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER PROGRAMS), EVEN IF
SUCH HOLDER OR OTHER PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH
DAMAGES
