Does the internet stamp hold its value?

Yes it does.  The value of the stamp is printed right on it.  If an internet stamp has a value of US $10, then you can make purchases worth of $10.

Other micropayments tend to use very strange ways to convert money back and forth between virtual coins and cash, but we do not do that.  We simply issue you a stamp that is valid for the amount printed on it, once you use the funds, the internet stamp is invalid, and can be deleted, or if you choose you can keep it and start an internet stamp collection.
